Dharma Charter

  1. Sovereignty belongs to Dharma only.
  2. Dharma is defined as conduct undertaken to cultivate virtue and suppress vice, similarly Adharma is conduct undertaken to harm virtue and promote vice. Consequently it is also Dharma to resist Adharma
  3. All men are free to act according to their conscience and pursue their happiness as long as their conduct is in accordance with Dharma
  4. State, caste, family, all the mediating social institutions have legitimacy only as long as their conduct is in accordance with Dharma. Once they start acting contrary to Dharma they lose their legitimacy.
  5. All the social institutions must respect freedom of men as long as it is in accordance with Dharma.
