Indian Express on Shivraj Patil

Indian Express criticizes, correctly in my view, competency (or lack of it) of Home Minister Mr. Shivraj Patil.

While Mr Patil's sartorial sense is impeccable, his ability to handle internal security of India (which even at the best of times is complicated, if not downright treacherous) is questionable.

Half-brained and half hearted measures taken by him are further aggravated by his sense of pop-sociology (in words of Indian Express).

In short Mr. Patil is a minister India can do without (along with many of his colleagues in present dispension).

What Indian Express fails to mention (deliberately ?), that Sonia Gandhi is accountable for failure of Mr. Patil, considering it's due to her approval that Mr. Patil is still in cabinet.
