If this continues, it may pose a serious challenge to Ekta kapoor as well as Indian Idol as it combines the petty intrigue of "K" serials with morbid voyeurism of reality TV .

Update : Slimes has more, the bribe was taken for MP Local Area Development Schemes, I always thought that it was a sham and a scam of unparalleled scale, good that the reality has come out.

Update: Pioneer reports that Mr. L K Advani has demande scrapping of MPLAD scheme, notwithstanding movties I endorse this. As he suggested this money could be used for state funding of politcal parties.
