I say this not because I support riots, but because I think those who support appeasement are guilty of most serious misjudgement, which is that such acts of grovelling can pacify the fanatic.

I hadn't made myself clear, may be : I was asking for the examples of people you had in mind, who would say that violence should never be resorted to. I was afraid if you were motivated by people who say that Afzal shouldn't be hanged ( as that includes me! ).

Well I was not motivated by Afzal, but in a way that circus should belong right here.
