Why I am not liberal (in one line)

Liberalism means dismantling society, I dont want society to be dismantled, hence I am not liberal.

The Gardener's Visit

 (AI assisted)

The Gardener's VisitIn the golden haze of a suburban afternoon, Alex pulled his weathered SUV into the driveway of the sprawling modern estate. The house stood as a flawless cube of glass and steel, reflecting the perfectly symmetrical lawns that stretched toward the horizon. He grabbed his red toolbox from the trunk—the tools inside clinking like relics—and walked through the open gate. High above the hedges, a sleek drone glided silently, its spinning blades whispering as it trimmed each bush into razor-sharp geometric perfection. Tiny green clippings drifted down like confetti. Alex watched it for a moment with calm familiarity, then set to work beside it, his own clippers moving in slower, deliberate arcs. Elena appeared at the patio doors, poised and elegant in a beige outfit that seemed chosen to blend with the neutral palette of the house. She watched Alex shape a single hedge into a slightly uneven curve, leaving one branch just a fraction longer than the rest. “You’re doing it exactly as I asked,” she said softly. “A touch of imperfection. The human touch.” Alex nodded, wiping his hands on his jeans. “That’s why you hired me, right? Not just another machine.”Elena tilted her head, studying him. “What did you used to do, before this?”“Product director,” Alex answered without hesitation. “Tech startup. Long hours, bigger promises.”She gave a small, knowing nod. “Market is tough.” They stood in companionable silence for a while, the drone humming overhead, Alex’s clippers snipping here and there to soften what the machine had made too precise. The conversation never returned to his past, but the quiet understanding lingered between them. As the sun began to lower, a black sedan glided into the driveway with almost no sound. Marcus stepped out, suit immaculate, posture unnaturally straight. He walked across the lawn to join Elena, his movements smooth and measured. The couple stood side by side, admiring the garden. Marcus reached out and ran a finger along one of the slightly irregular branches Alex had left. His fingertip made no mark, left no warmth.“Excellent,” Marcus said, voice even and calm. “Just the right amount of… character.”Elena smiled at Alex. “Thank you. It’s perfect now.” Alex packed his tools, gave them a final nod, and headed back to his car. As he drove away, the sprinklers hissed to life in perfect unison. In the rearview mirror he caught one last glimpse: Elena and Marcus standing motionless on the lawn, faces turned toward the setting sun. Their eyes caught the dying light and reflected it back in flat, mirror-like uniformity—no pupils, no subtle shift of focus, just perfect, unblinking chrome discs beneath the illusion of irises. The drone resumed its patrol, trimming away the last faint traces of the day’s small rebellion.

It is time to get MAD

General Category is protesting online for equality. BJP is ignoring the protest, their logic being, that GCs have no alternative, that, if GCs dont vote for BJP, GCs will suffer. But that argument goes both way, if GCs dont vote for BJP, GCs will suffer, but so will BJP.

This closely mirrors cold war doctrine regarding nuclear arsenal. The idea was, if either of USA and Russia initiates nuclear attack, the retaliation by other part will ensure, mutual destruction.

This doctrine is known as MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction). This doctrine ensured stability between both camps of cold war, close to 4 decades. This can just work for GCs as well.

Synthesis

There is a thin line between synthesis and circus. Sangh has crossed that line

Capitalism and Art.

Capitalism has ensured that common man has easy access to the most refined art, at the same time capitalism has also ensured that common man aspires for nothing but basest of desires

The Reform Fetish

A reformist is reformist because reform makes him feel good about himself.

But he can be reformist only as long as there is something to reform

Hence it follows that he will keep finding something wrong to reform.

This explains the entire gamut of Indian politics from Communists to Sangh

Case for blasphemy laws.

 1. Core premise of enlightenment liberalism is that man is inherently good and left to own device will arrive at virtue.

2. From above liberalism argue for *absolute* free speech.

3. In reality man is flawed & left to own device will fall to wickedness

4. Reason alone can't guide man towards virtue. Reason must be anchored to a premise which in itself is beyond reason

5. For various philosophical reasons involving ontology, deontology etc, belief in deity is the most parsimonious version of premise

6. Therefore average man remains steadfast to virtue to the extent he retains belief in deity and associated theology.

7. Insofar social contract is concerned with virtuous conduct, deity is lynchpin to social contract

8. Man believes in deity only to the extent there is awe and fear surrounding deity

9. Once man stops fearing deity, he stops believing in deity, without belief social contract collapses and with it society.

10. Therefore blasphemy laws are necessary for society QED.

Ideology of Indian State

Internet Hindus dont understand nature of Indian state. Indian state is inheritor of Dark regime (Islamic rule  + British Raj), which claimed legitimacy to rule on basis of bringing light of civilization to Hindus living in darkness of superstition and ignorance.

Mission of Indian state is same, ie to bring light of civilization (essentially latest intellectual fad of west) to Hindus. Doenst matter which branch of state, judiciary, legislature or executive, function under the same ideological framework.

Modi, being quintessentially Sanghi, lacks any original insight and therefore follows same ideological status quo.

In Praise Of "Mohalle Ki Bua"

Society survives because of norms. Withering away of norms is immediately followed by collapse of society. When society collapses, weak is oppressed by strong. Therefore it is in interest of women, who are weak, to uphold social norms, even zealously.

Mohalle Ki Bua is the patroller of norms.

Why Free Speech Absolutism Can't Work

Argument behind free speech absolutism is "marketplace of ideas" which hinges on premise "good ideas will drive away bad ideas" which hinges on premise market is an institution driven by reason.

Reality is opposite, market is driven by sentiments which is why bad ideas drive out good ideas.

Ideology & Autism

Ideological movements are driven by autistic and screwed by autistic.

Basically you need a Goldilocks zone of autism for ideological movement to thrive.

Dharma & Pursuit Of Happiness

 When is man happy?

When he acts according to Dharma.

What is Dharma?

Divine law, progressively revealed in nature.

Case For Blasphemy Laws

  1. Preservation of society depends upon preservation of social contract
  2. Social contract is primarily a sentimental phenomenon
  3. Preservation of social contract implies preservation of underpinning sentiments
  4. Best way to preserve sentiments is by sacralising them and by blasphemy laws.

Suicide Pact

Indian constitution enshrines secularism as state ideology. Secularism elide self-enemy distinction. Indian constitution is a suicide pact for Hindus

Limits Of Free Speech

1. Existence of society is based on social contract.

2. Social contract, being ideological artifact is susceptible to bad ideas.

3. Many bad ideas are contagious

This defines the limit of free speech.

Musings on Social Contract

Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau got social contract wrong.

  1. Social contract is implicit, not explicit.
  2. Social contract is incremental and contingent, instead of planned and structured.
  3. Contemporary categories of social contracts
    1. Non-aggression principle (Classical Liberal/Libertarian)
    2. Common Good (Conservative)
    3. Brother's Keeper (Conservative/Liberal)
  4. Proper role of state is to guarantee social contract.

DOGA's Talisman

You might have heard of Gandhi's Talisman, here is DOGA's Talisman.

Whenever, you, a Hindu, come across, a leader or a party, you should immediately evaluate if that leader or party aids in survival of Hindu civilization. If they do, they are your allies, if not, they aren't.

How to curb revdi politics

By now, it should be obvious to everyone that Indian politics has entered spiral of competitive populism.
This not a good news. Here is my proposal to curb it

1. There should be a legal limit for deficit for state budgets (already covered by FRBM act)

2. There should be a nonpartisan agency (like CBO https://cbo.gov) which evaluates manifesto to reconcile with budget. Only approved ones can be announced in polls
