Indian Express on JNU

Indian express comes heavily on JNU for protesting during PM's speech

Intellectual bankruptcy of JNU is hardly a news to me, considering how its alumni indulge in manipulations and intrigues to further their ideology.
However what I find surprising is that Indian Express fails to note that JNU was in fact product of Congress itself!

Jawahar Lal Nehru (aka Chacha Clueless) and his daughter Indira Gandhi intentionally enocuraged socialism/communism, in order to monopolise Indian intellectual space, because, power comes naturally when you have controlled mind.
This means ofcourse, to suppress not only any intellecutal dissension , but any intellectual debate whatsoever by branding others as revisionist/elitist/capitalist.
The result ofcourse is intellectual equivalent of indulging in mutual masturbation or incest
It is ofcourse ironical that communism/socialism used the same methods they claimed they were fighting against.

The result is ofcourse that the power (whether in academics or medua) is controlled by communist or their sympathisers, who will do stoop to any deceit in order to promote their ideological agenda.

Ofcourse it is amusing to see these ladies and gentlemen biting the very hand that fed them.

But I think irony is lost on Mr. Shekar Gupta, who to me, seems a sympathiser of Congress.

However, one important point he raises why must tax payers pay money so that communists can play hookey. Us iitians get lot of grief for this (I am against subsidies to IIT btw.), but unlike JNU, IIT can atleast claim to be contributing something , however modest it may be.

As an aside it reminded me of this post (via DesiPundit), where blogger had posted a picture which depited a swastika shaped building in JNU campus, although the blogger didn't say anything outright about this, her discomfiture(consternation?) was palpable (or it might be that I am being biased here, given my distrust of all things communists).

However the comments to that post went like "Swastika in JNU, what a sacrilege to secularism!" .

Update: This is good (by Madhoo)
